The Office of Housing and Residence Life wants every member of our community to feel at home. Providing a gender-neutral restroom option for our residents and guests means that all can feel comfortable and safe when using our facilities. And while this change may make a major difference to those individuals who truly need it, many residents may not even notice. All gender neutral restrooms are single stall, meaning that only one person uses them at a time.
How to gain access to a gender-neutral restroom:
All public restrooms in 330 Cooper St. are now gender-neutral. Feel free to go in and use without a key.
The public restrooms in the Camden Tower and Apartments have keys that must be requested from the Security Officer. The Security Officer should ask if you would like the key for the Apartments or Tower side facilities.
The public restrooms in the Camden Apartments are now labeled as gender-neutral. You will notice these restroom keys now have handles that are yellow.
The public restrooms in the Camden Tower remain gendered as male and female. These keys have handles that are green (female) and orange (male).
